After the success of the first single “The Siren“, heavy metal band Warred releases the second single “Corners of The World”, which is also part of the upcoming brand new album “The Siren“, set to be released on May 19th.
“Corners of The World” portrays the pressure we suffer from society, family, work, relationships, and all the things that surround us. The lyrics show “the need to mold ourselves by pressures from all sides of our lives, causing insecurity, anxiety, doubts and the fear of not achieving what is imposed by others“, according to the guitarist Rodrigo Andrade.
With fast guitar riffs and a chorus that won’t get off your head so soon, “Corners of The World” brings elements from a lot of metal subgengres, turning it in something unique.
Warred was founded in 2012 by young band members and long time friends Arthur and Rodrigo. They both shared the same passion for old school metal bands such as Iron Maiden, Metallica, Judas Priest and more.
After a few changes in the band formation, since 2020, the band stablished their identity, mixing the old school metal with modern metal influences. Having released four singles since 2019 – with the last one from the upcoming album, Warred now comes with a brand new song and video “Corners of The World” that is featured on the band’s upcoming album “The Siren“.
The single was recorded at Dual Noise Studios in Sao Paulo with renowned brazilian metal producer Rogerio Wecko, and the video was shot at a disused parking lot in Pinheiros, Sao Paulo, filmed, directed and edited by Jorge Torres and Raul Jacomini from Riff Filmes.
The album “The Siren” will be released on May 19th of 2022.
“Corners of The World” will be released on all digital platforms on March 18th. The official video will be released on March 25th.
