On their second album “Lost In Paradise”, Mirrorplain deliver eleven brand-new rock songs. Compared to the previous album “Path Of Salvation” from 2017, these songs definitely up the game in every aspect.
The musical range between rock, alternative and metal is still impressive, but more focused and straight to the point on the new album. The band keeps their joy of playing music, but concentrates more on the compositions, the sound of which is refined by the powerful and transparent production by Hilton Theissen (“Dark Millenium”).
Singer Christian Döring deploys all his skills with his rough and charismatic voice. Songs like “Judgement Day” or “Drown” get under the skin and captivate the listener due to epic arrangements and a dramatic composition which goes straight to the legs and to the heart.
Towards the end of the album, the band presents a more than proper finale with the melancholy and escalating rock ballad “Faceless World”.
In time for the album release, the band will go on a European support tour with QUEENSRYCHE and FIREWIND gaining many new fans for sure.
